Linkbricks sLLMs Also Take First Place on the Japanese sLLM Leaderboard

developed through Linkbricks’ ‘Horizon AI’ platform, a builder for large language model (LLM) development, have swept the top ranks of the ‘Open JP-LLM Leaderboard’ (Japanese LLM performance evaluation leaderboard).

According to Linkbricks, as of the 27th, six sLLMs created using Horizon AI ranked 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th on the ‘Open JP-LLM Leaderboard,’ which is jointly operated by LLM-jp, a research consortium led by the University of Tokyo, and Japan’s National Institute of Informatics Optimizing sLLMs for the Japanese language is as challenging as it is for Korean.

Ji Yoon-sung, Chairman of Linkbricks, stated, “The Japanese writing system is based on a mix of three distinct character sets: Kanji, which are logographic characters derived from Simplified Chinese; Hiragana, a phonetic syllabary; and Katakana, often used for foreign words.

Especially in modern Japanese, multiple languages are blended—including Chinese, native Japanese, Latin script, Dutch, and Portuguese —making it one of the most complex languages to process. Despite these challenges, we’ve achieved outstanding results, which validates our technological capabilities.”

Previously, Linkbricks also achieved top rankings on the ‘Open Ko-LLM Leaderboard’ (Korean LLM performance evaluation leaderboard), jointly operated by the National Information Society Agency (NIA)
